Ahh such beautiful weather today, I had a real "I want to go to the beach" moment when I was walking home from school, it's days like today which make me wish I was in Portland so I could go for a surf, oh well.
So i've had some sleep now, I managed 35 hours of pretty much uninterrupted "awake" time since Sunday morning until 10pm last night, that's a pretty lnog stretch, something I don't really feel like doing again in a hurry.
During my class today I had this dizzy spell like I just needed to shut my eyes and lie down for a bit. I never really get that, I wasn't sure if it was the lack of sleep since Sunday, the really light lighting in the classroom or the terribly boring long winded discussion on Corporate Governance that was going on. The lecturer was standing right near my desk constantly during the whole class so I couldn't just stick my head down on the desk for 2 minutes and fix my head up, I gotta start turning up early for that class so I can get a better seat.
So now I only have one assignment to do before the end of the semester, then its onto exams. I am feeling a lot less stressed this semester about my school work compared to how I usually feel, even though I think I've been busier this semester then nearly all of my previous ones at uni. I really don't feel impending doom about my exams, I feel inside that I'll "manage" and I won't fail, I'm not sure if this is a good thing as its usually my stress out mentality that causes me to study my arse off and pull through, I guess we'll see.
Ok time to play some F.E.A.R and then do some readings, I've only just played up to the part which is past the demo level of F.E.A.R so now it'll get interesting, although the game chunks on my machine even at 800x600, think I need an upgrade!

I think we all need an upgrade. Graphics cards are sounding pretty exciting these days. Hell, I could go buy a $150 graphics card and it would probably be better than my old Radeon. :( Poor Radeon.
I get this occasional "red dots" artifacting in Day of Defeat and F.E.A.R which is also really annoying, I'm not sure if its the graphics card not quite being up to the games standards or if its just getting too hot.
Plus i'm not sure if my graphics card is really the problem or if its my low amount of ram (512meg) I have for gaming high end fps games.
All nighters rock. Even better when you do numerous days on end and live on dr pepper & junk food... thems was the days. Fuck I was hugez0r.
Sounds like video card, system wouldn't create visual artefacts. Memory problems would be stuff like the game freezing up/slowing down (even with video set to minimum).
Yeah I meant that the ram is causing the chunking in my games and I think the video card is probably just running hot. I guess I better save for an upgrade instead of a PSP!
