Dude, its Darth Vaders blog.

^^^ From #ilz.
Whats with today being really dark? At 4pm I had to turn the lights on in this place cause I was straining to see stuff. Winter is finally lowering its big fat arse down on the chair it calls "Melbourne", soon it will be firmly planted and I won't see much daylight for about 4 or 5 months :(
For everyone out there that reads this blog and doesn't really feel like they know there true calling, read this article What Should I Do With My Life?

Its a pretty interesting read for the last 3/4 of the article, Its made me think about my life direction (The one I don't have). So maybe it'll do the same for you guys.

Heres one for the boys, you know that program cpu-z and the like that gives you info on your system? You know how you thought it was pretty cool? Well THIS is far more jawsome. It came in real handy on finding out information about my laptop that I needed too (cpu-z and the like just came up blank).
The things that make me laugh while I study. How bout a name of a judge?

Cockburn CJ

I'm still giggling.
Company Law is the pits. More so when your revising for a test that is tomorrow and thought you knew more than you did (the reason why you don't is because you went overseas for 2 weeks and missed your classes for these topics :F)

I'm such a dunce.

Its been an interesting weekend, good to go out and have a few drinks and be sociable every now and then. Although I feel pretty tired and spaced out now from the lack of sleep and too much beer drinking :/ .

So things I observed last night:

- People who like RnB only like RnB music period, it would seem.
- Any interesting Hip-Hop or early RnB from the late 80s early 90s has be murdered and intertwined into unoriginal and gimmicky 00s RnB.
- Beyonce's lyrics are not good.
- RnB lyrics in general are not good.
- It would appear that if you listen to commerical FM radio for about an hour a week (every now and then) you will pretty much know every RnB song played by any RnB DJ in a bar/club in Melbourne.
- People at the Watermark cannot dance to RnB, and when they try to be "outlandish" with there dance moves they look like a gimpy tone deaf background dancer in an RnB music video that missed every rehersal.
- I miss the old Docks.
- I still do not like RnB.
- Paying $8 for a corona is not cool.
- Paying $7 for a large glass of any beer on tap is not cool.
- Paying $6 for the night rider is not cool (it use to be $4).
- The night rider driver letting me off where ever I wanted was cool.
- The hosts bosses that I met on the night are nice people, when given the chance.
- Astro is still my favorite person to dance with.

Also why do people still dance in circles with their friends? I never got that, like never. I can understand dancing with your friends and generally just hanging around each other on a "dancefloor", but the whole circle thing reminds me of doing the "hokey pokey" in grade 1 or something.

Anyway thats all for the moment.

I'm well over half way through my double degree (about 3.75 outta 6 semesters worth). So what have I learnt?

1. I'm pretty bad at financial subjects (I find these time consuming and sometimes boring and require much drawing of graphs and doing of accounting crap)
2. I'm ok at law subjects (fairly easy, If I spent more time reading the text books, drawing flow charts and the like I would do better)
3. I'm pretty good at IT subjects (easiest of all my subjects to do, maybe its just because I find the subject matter easy to pick up?)

Thats about all I've learnt :P .

I was unpacking my car, walking up the flight of stairs to the flat where I realised I was carrying my TAFE diploma in one hand, a half full bottle of baileys in the other and my travelling backpack slung around my shoulder. I think those three items, strangely in a way, sums up the last couple of years I spent at 'the grove'. Good times...

Although I sure am glad to be outta of that energy sapping house with its errie bad ghost laden aura. brr.
Life is not measured by the number of breaths you take, but by the number of times your breath is taken away.

Great quote.
