Seriously if you found 10 grand on the street would you hand it in to the cops? I'd think twice about it, but would probably hand it in (And kick myself later :P ).

I once lost a $500 wallet that had $400 inside it in the city on Queens Street. It was returned to me by a French man the very next day, with everything inside. I felt so good that if I found $5 or $5000 I would certainly return it to the owner. Would not even think twice about it.
K. and I were talking about it last night and I realised that I would had it in for two reasons...
1) I'd get so paranoid that the money was left there for a setup that having it could put mine and others around me in danger.
2) It's the right thing to do, also if it doesn't get claimed after a certain period I get to keep it anyway.
