I had totally forgotten a new UFO (you know, based on the X-COM series) game was coming out. Then to my surprise today I see that UFO:Aftershock is out, and even though the homepage is most in german(?) the screenshots and unofficial FAQ give a pretty good indication of what the game is like. There is even a playable demo if you're interested.

Also to my surprise, today I found out there is an online RPG game based on the world of UFO:Aftershock, so much UFO goodness! I'm going to check all this shit out after I finish my exams (21st).
