Astro and I are without Internets. This is due to a problem with iinet migrating us to their own dslam equipment. We are 1 of 12 users affected. Might not be back on until the 3rd Jan. This sucks!

Some people in the world are just unfair, there is no better way to put it than that. People treat others pretty unfairly without ever really knowing (or wanting to know) the entire picture. They just sorta ride into situations, see what they want to see, figure what is ultimately best for them, dress it up as something else, than proceed to fuck with people. The funny thing is that to these type of people its nothing special, it's not an abnormality of character, (although some desperately try to convince the world around them otherwise) they've always been like this so they never really understand just how hurtful they can end up being to people.

So I don't know where I am really going with this post, I was just sitting here thinking about the people through my history that have been unfair in their treatment of myself, people that have caused me to think "Why?", caused me to rack my brain to find a defining moment from when they went from "nice person" to "fucking with me" and what I did to cause it. Often I realise that it was a silent transition with no confrontation, some people would rather do that than talk openly (and heaven forbid DIRECTLY) about what bothers them that other people have said/done.

Sigh, I guess these people just come and go in your life and the older you get the more you should be able to handle/cope with it right? Well I think I am slowly getting better at it, I don't think any one really gets use to it, regardless of what defence mechanisms they conjure (or is that conjuer?) up.

Anyway, time to stop that rant now, and to wish all my friends a Merry Christmas (and to this one a Happy Birthday) and I hope you spend today and the next few days with your friends and people you truly love.

I was going to do a long complicated post with images and whatnot but I screwed up taking the pictures and then I got bored and hungry and tore open the box I was taking photos of. But the main point that you need to know is that Big W have giant 354g Junior Mints boxes for sale for $6.95! The are massive and yummy and hugallagalbaguhablaguhablhuugablabgbg. Be quick cause I have been told by astro that they sell out all the time!

Thought I should post cause I haven't for 6(?) days. That's a fair time for me lately! Anyway thanks to everyone who wished me well for my birthday, I really appriecate the effort even if you might not think it is any trouble at all! Just the fact that some people even remember my birthday is a good enough birthday present for me! (cause quite frankly, I am TERRIBLE with remembering peoples birthdays).

So whats been going on? Well I've had a good past week, going to Bendigo was pretty fun and more relaxing than the last time I went up. Astro and I sat around doing the usual slacking and also so things together by ourselves and with my parents. Got to see the kitties which is always a big treat for myself.

Came home on Sunday and went to astro's extended family critsmas party, it was pretty good this year and I enjoyed it a lot (and felt more comfortable) cause it was at astro's mums house. Good food and company was had and I can only hope next years party will be just as good.

Then the next day I had my birthday which was really rad cause I got to go to the planetarium! *Thrusts arms in the air* and then go to KFC (cause I love eating that crap) and it was particually greasy and salty and the burger was fresh, the fast food gods must have been smiling on me. I also got and extremely rad present from astro, I talked about these bags on my blog ages ago and thought they would be pretty cool but man, they are better than I thought! You can jam my laptop in its own comparment (just, since my laptop is pretty big) and then jam like a ton of textbooks in the front (the thing really does just keep expanding the more stuff you put in it, it is very weird) and than stick it on you back all bumbakpak style and you seriously cannot feel the 10+ kilos of crap weighing you down cause of the way the weight is distributed. I must say I have not done extensive testing of this (since I'm not at school) but I am pretty confident it will be saving my upper body and back from the insane strain and pain of my trusty old windows media bag when I am carting shit around all day long.

Uh oh, gotta go do something, continue this blog later!

Man Cute Overload has some of the god damn cutest kitten and puppy photo's i've ever seen. Well, at least for today!

If i ever go back to QLD I wanna go to this Spacewalker Theme Park/Tourist Attraction thing. Could be really lame, but I don't care.
Man I love watching people do Le Parkour, it is totally rad and I wish I was fit enough/had enough co-ordination to do, like, any of the stuff in this awesome video done by a couple of crazy russians. I dunno how tall (and I guess getting old) guys would be well suited to this sort of stuff, seems like something small ex-gymnasts would do :) .

EDIT: Oh yeah, excuse the arty camera shot stuff from the 1 to 2 minute mark, I thought the video was screwing up but it wasn't!

So what have I been doing lately? Something really exciting??? Nar not at all, just this and that and playing Civ4, last night I almost gave up on it again (The god damn game is rigged sometimes I swear) but I finally got a good start on a h00ge map and kept playing, so the rest of last night and most of today later I'm almost at the end of the game time (I have about 50 moves left) and I'm "winning" (which can mean a few things in Civ I guess) although because almost every piece of land on this hooge map is built out by CPU or myself it literally takes 10 to 15 minutes to have a turn on this computer from all the loading, it seriously sucks, I'll have to either upgrade of just play the more resonable "large" maps.

Tomorrow I am going to attempt to go to the city and get a few things done, namely get most of my families christmas presents bought. This ought to prove interesting considering how hot it is going to be, still I'd rather take my chances in a mostly air conditioned CBD/Trains than sit at home boiling in this flat.

Oh yeah, Wednesday I got my uni results, passed everything so hooray. I got above average marks compared to the rest of my semesters so I guess I should be happy. One subject I did pretty poorly in and that means I must have really bombed the exam, that was the one where everyone wrote for 2.5 hours straight and only about 2 people left the exam early. It sure was a bitch.
I just watched the Cowboy Bebop movie on SBS, it was alright, nothing to rave on about but it was alright. The way i use to read about Cowboy Bebop on the internets you'd think it was the greatest thing eva.

So which one are you? Tiny testicles or tiny brain?
Before I get to blog about this (cause I always do), remember those dusted jelly babies I use to buy from Nutsaq? Well in Target they sell this brand of jelly babies by a company called 'Taveners' and it is in a tall yellow box. They are identical to the extremely expensive nutsaq ones I use to buy (except fresher, if that makes any sense. Softer.) and they are $2.99 for 230g, bargain!
Anyway, they are EXTREMELY tasty and you should all buy them before Target pulls them off the shelves because I am the only one who eats them :) .
Today (Tuesday) I encountered the following things, my sister, teaching her to beat me at pool, man chroming in public toilets, ordinary chapel street food, phat weather, annoying phone store staff, Jase, two letters from Westpac, kitty, astro's left cheek, good fish n chips, 3 skeletons, 1 skeletons and 4 skeletons.

Short fighting animation film called "Supa Monks", my favourite bit is actually the end credits, the music sucks, but still worth a watch.

You can't help but feel happier after you watch a Hayao Miyazaki film. Tonight I saw Majo no takkyûbin (Kiki's Delivery Service), so beautiful so happy, not a henchman in the film or a part where a nemesis character arises, I love it.

There are two torrents floating around at the moment that are pretty much the entire collection of DOS games over 2 DVDs. It is pretty staggering the collection that is on the DVDs and I am struggling to think of any game that isn't on there (although some old shareware/freeware games are not on there). Here is the nfo file so you can check the list (nfo file is very hard to read). I might end up getting it but i'll have to wait till next month so I don't get shaped downloading 8 gig! It is actually just worth reading the nfo as it is quite a learning experience, like I had no idea some games were released on PC that I use to play on the Amiga etc.
Sitting up late reading a lot of stuff on the Internet. Sorta waiting for it to get cooler but it is actually getting hotter in my lounge room so I think it is best I go to sleep now. Astro and I bought some christmas decoration stuff today for our anniversary, we put up the christmas lights just before she went to bed, they look great, so great I don't want to turn them off for some reason!

Anyway I was reading an article I'll probably link to tomorrow if I can be bothered (haven't finished reading it yet, fairly long), It is about time management and yada yada, however a part of it really stuck out at me so I thought I'd stick it up here.

"If you aren't yet at the point of clarity, then make that your first goal. It's a big waste of time to go through life being unclear about what you want. Most people wallow way too long in the state of "I don't know what to do." They wait for some external force to provide them with clarity, never realizing that clarity is self-created. The universe is waiting on you, not the other way around, and it's going to keep waiting until you finally make up your mind. Waiting for clarity is like being a sculptor staring at a piece of marble, waiting for the statue within to cast off the unneeded pieces. Do not wait for clarity to spontaneously materialize -- grab a chisel and get busy!"

werd. Something I should heed of.
