I bought a stick of salami today, I thought salami lasts forever so thats sorta why i bought it (oh yeah and the fact that its much cheaper than buying the sliced stuff from the deli). I forgot to check the expiry date before I bought it, this sticks "Best by" date is 2 weeks away. What the hell! I thought salami was indestructable! Even the the big wad of turkey that i bought lasts until April, I feel ripped off.
I also feel full of Salami, since I am chowing down on it before it goes out of date.
Bendigo was good, I saw my cats, watched foxtel, saw Fenton and did the various items of work i needed to do for my parents (which all went off without a hitch! So far.....) .
Today I had my first lecture back at uni, its for a subject called Information Systems Project (ISP). I think I underestimated this subject, it looks damn hard and nothing like i thought it would be. Its basically doing a giant airline booking system entirely in Oracle. I hate Oracle, it sucks! And we have to use Oracle forms! No one uses those any more! This is lame!
It is also going to be pretty hard for me considering the last time I even thought about Oracle (or DB programming for that matter) is about 2 years ago, I've forgotten everything, now I need to learn it all again! ack!

Until such a time as you can identify more than two of the ingredients in Salami, it is indestructable.
I did a DB programming assignment with Oracle forms... all I can say is... change subjects now!!

Hal: Yeah I would if it wasn't a core subject that I have to do :) I've done DB2 which was Oracle programming with forms. What a waste of time, some dude got up and had a go at the lecturer for making us do this project in Oracle. Quite funny until the guy took it too far.
