Weekend? How was it? Went out Friday night with workmates to a pretty cool bar/pub in Sydney, it was a giant place called "The Argyle". I had a good time and spent way to much money on drinks. I think I still have this problem with socialising with work people though, they sorta have me pegged as a nice guy who doesn't blag alot and generally will keep his trap shut if nothing useful is going to come out of it, which is the way you just have to be sometimes at work. However out of work I am a different beast and can sometimes be a little hard to tell if I am joking with you or what, I guess I just have to keep going out and showing people what I am like, I haven't really been going out a lot with the grads, so it does make it hard when I do.
Sunday I did more trailwalker training, 32km+ again, this time it was on the hardest sections of the entire trail that we will do. It was really really fucking hard I tell you, I ran out of water towards the end too because we only found one place to fill up along the way and it about 4km into it so it wasn't much use. I wrecked my left knee although it is feeling a lot better, astro did some knee tests on me and came to the conclusion that my knee cap might not be tracking properly or something, so I'll have to sort that out.
Today I finally got my shoes I ordered from Paul's warehouse, it feels a bit underwhelming to get them now, over a month since I ordered them and they were only suppose to be send from a suburb about 15km away, sheesh.
I also got my ASUS VX2 laptop on salary sacrifice today, it sure is pretty and meaty, although Vista is hella slow, it is all a bit of a letdown really. I am starting to have a bit of buyers remorse but I think I'll get over that.

Asus VX2 - the Lamborghini one?? haha.. they are $$$.. you crazy mofo, no, you bastard! I want one :)
Did you get it in yellow or black? I love Asus' flash intro for the VX2. Remove Bloatsta and install XP dual booting with linux.
But welcome to the quality notebook world. My Asus notebook has lasted about 10 months of daily programming work on it, an install of Gentoo Linux (which hammers your HDD and CPU everytime you install/update anything) and tumbling around in my bag while backpacking around Europe for 13 months. And it feels just like when I bought it, just the keys have lost a lot of their grittiness (etches away to a smoothness after a few years). :)
