Ok so I guess I'm not finishing the BDO blog, to put it short I the rest of the bands I saw in no particular order: The Streets (Really good, atmosphere was excellent and they really mixed up there sound live), Powderfinger (You couldn't get a more boring band, seriously), Le Tigre (Really really awesome stage show, there sound was very suited to the indoors venue it was in, although that was small, it was bloody loud too, and when I say its loud, I mean make my ears bleed loud, lucky they were entertaining), hear about 5 minutes of Leroy from the prodigy in there, wasn't impressed, The Beastie Boys (Were good, wish I coulda got closer to the front and wasn't so bloody tired, Chemical Brothers (Never got near the boiler room for this cause the crowd was so huge, was standing outside in the chaos and what I heard was ok), Concord Dawn (Awesome Drum'n'Bass outfit from New Zealand, really got the crowd going and it was only like midday or something! They even played some old jungle sounding tracks in there I knew), and there was probably some others in there too i forget right now. All in all looking back on it, it was a good time.

So whats been happening since then? Well I got my stitches out of my back and now I am pretty 100% functional, the skin and so forth is taking a while to heal. Glad there out!

Had to pick my sister up the other day coming back from Perth. She was good, seemed very happy to be home but was happy for the experience to go over and do some learning and shit over there. Maybe it helped her open her eyes a bit to the world, when you live with other people for so long like she has and only stay in Victoria your view of the world is a bit one dimensional.

Went out the other night to see one of my favorite artists of the moment James Holden the other night for a 3 hour DJ set, it was pretty awesome although I felt super tired and felt quite ill during the night (I pretty much always do when I go to clubs these days) . He played a lot of new stuff which I was digging and was a big departure from what he played at St Kilda Fest the next day. His set really didn't go anywhere though, he seemed like he really wanted to pump out the new border community tracks, which of course, actually was the main reason he was out here on tour.

So I start school again on Monday for another year. This year I plan to get better marks and get more involved with extra curricular activities that my uni has to offer, as I'm going to be out of there before I know it so I better try and make the most of it. I'm actually commited to something at the moment which is pretty exciting but more on that later when details are finalised and i'm not so tired :) .

Tomorrow I am hopefully going to catch up with an old school friend of mine whose in Melbourne on business, will be great to sit down and have a chat and forget about going back to uni and all that other pressing stuff for a while.

Hopefully tomorrow I will bloody go to the bookstore and sell my old text books if they'll have them! I've been in striking distance of that joint all this week and haven't gone! Better get cracking.
