Ok I'm out of bed because the people living in the flat across from our bedroom window have pals around and are drinking and being extremely noisy. They were just seconds ago all out on their balcony screaming and carrying on and dropping shit (well stuff sounded like it was breaking on the footpath). So since I'm up and feeling annoyed, lets talk about two things that annoy me.
Firstly, petrol prices... Yeah I know everyone bitches about it these days, but I don't fill my car up that often maybe once every 7 to 8, maybe sometimes strech it to 10 weeks unless I'm making a trip to Bendigo. But tonight I paid just over $50 for 39 litres of petrol, that didn't even fill up my car which hovers at just over 3/4 full. I remember the good ol' days (like two years ago) where you could fill up a tank for around $40 on an average day I use to fill both my LPG and petrol tanks (when the LPG worked) for around $55. Nowdays I really feel the pinch at the pump and I don't even hardly use my car, I feel terrible for those struggling families that earn like 40K to 50K between them and have to fill up one or two cars a week just to get around / drive to work. They must really struggle to make ends meet.
Earlier today I heard that record number of cars are being bought in Australia every month recently even though petrol prices are soaring, all because the Free Trade Agreement(s) and the current low interest rates are making cars more affordable than ever. That's just crazy, this country (and indeed the world) need to really start actioning ideas to make people stop using cars.
Anyway thats way too much inof/waffle on point one, point two however is a simple one. The company that makes KitKats recently came out with a new "Creamier" version of the KitKat, I've had about 3 since they were release and I can tell you that they pretty much taste exactly the same as regular KitKats. I dunno what the go is but there sure is not much more "creaminess" to it. At uni the other night I bought one out of a vending machine and as I was eating it and going down an escalator a women behind me commented on how she thought they weren't creamier at all either. Now if a random woman feels compelled to tell someone that is currently eating a creamier KitKat that she feels it tastes the same as a normal KitKat, then I think that's good reason to believe that I AM NOT ALONE ON THIS ONE! Seriously, don't waste your time on them.

Re: petrol. A little better public transport would probably not go astray in this department.
Re: KitKats. That's why I stick to the caramel kind.
re: petrol. People need to realise that a car is a luxury and you gotta pay. The number of news cars sold is ridiculous, I see them unloading on the harbour all the time - fields and fields of shiny new cars. Public transport is the way to go, I'm disgusted by the level of reliance people have on their cars, people that get in the car to go to the corner shop, people who use drive to work just for the sake of driving (and who have convenient access to public transport). On a related note, I think Clover Moore's idea is fantastic - http://www.smh.com.au/news/national/too-many-tolls-not-enough-says-moore/2005/10/26/1130302838996.html.
Re: KitKats, I agree entirely, I had one the other week and thought the exact same thing. Don't like the caramel ones though, too sweet for me. Stick to the good ol' kitkats, just the way they are/were.
I should start posting in my own blog. Comments posted tonight far outweigh all blog posts by me in >1 month.
